BIO

Dagna Silesia is a multifaceted musician and craftsman whose versatility shines both on stage and in the workshop. Currently, she commands the stand-up bass for the unapologetically bold pirate-themed ensemble, The Dread Crew of Oddwood. Her dynamic bass playing has also fueled a variety of musical ventures, from the festive energy of the Christmas rock orchestra Symphony North to the progressive sounds of Ray Alder’s solo band, The People Now, and the heavy, atmospheric waves of Ghost Ship Octavius.

Dagna has toured as part of Warrel Dane's solo project and stepped in to cover Jim Sheppard of the iconic heavy metal band Nevermore during two of their final tours—an honor that speaks volumes about her musicianship.

Offstage, Dagna channels her passion for music through her Seattle-based enterprise, Silesia Guitars, where she applies her luthier expertise to repair and customize guitars, blending artistry with technical precision. This unique blend of performance and craftsmanship is backed by a solid educational foundation: she is an alumna of Rytmus Music High School in Stockholm, Sweden, and completed her formal luthiery training at the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, Arizona. With a career marked by genre diversity and hands-on skill, Dagna Silesia embodies the spirit of a true musical artisan.
